The 327 in my '65 is the same way, it worked out to 9.00:1, hopefully the port work gained you something with the stock intake and manifolds. It will run good, but not sure it will feel like 350hp, my 327 with same basic combo you have with a comp XE274 cam but has headers, performer intake and double pump carb, it will run low 13's at 106.

17,129 San Jose, CA, USA Ok - so with a 67cc chamber and a "targetmaster" piston (-12cc), you have compression that's around 8.6-1. That's pretty low and limits cam size a bit. I totally understand you wanting to stay with the budget flat tappet cam, just know going in that you're playing with fire a bit with the current oil formulations.

Specs: .030 over 327 (332 CID) Flat top pistons Stock rods & Crank Edelbrock Performer RPM heads. 64cc chambers, 195cc intake runner volume, 2.02 intake -set up for flat tappet. But I think I can run a roller cam if I change the valve springs. Induction: most likely a single four barrel. Possibly dual 4s.
