IMO 78-79 Ford is best looking truck hands down. Many prefer 73-77, I like later grille much better. Also engine differences (4x4) from 73-77 1/2 were FE 360/390. I have zero experience with those. 77 1/2 - 79 4x4 got 351M/400 ONLY from factory. Some chassis/axle differences too with the split. Just FYI.
