I know they aren't directly comparable.. the Polaris is a torpedo boat with a hangar for a support fighter, and the A2 is a massive gunship + ground vehicle transport.

Hmmm, the A2 is a ship used for bombing the bejezus out of planetary objectives. Now perhaps you could use it as a PvE bountyhunting ship but I doubt it would be any good at it due to its sheer size and crew requirements. I tried bountyhunting once with its smaller sibling (Mercury) and two friends in the turrets but it did not really work out.
