Bentley 4½ Litre. (1927 to 1931) The Bentley 4½ Litre was introduced in 1927. Sold as a rolling chassis, the 4½ Litre was bodied by a coachbuilder of the owner's choosing. In 1929, Bentley introduced a supercharged version of the 4½ Litre known as the Blower Bentley, which was essentially the same chassis and engine as the 4½, but fitted.
