Fallout 4. I have some mods that add several new NPC factions, as well as things like Tales of From the Commonwealth that add new NPCs. I was getting awful stuttering when switching cells, and found out it's due to a lack of facegen data, and those NPCs needing to be rendered when they spawn on the fly. So, I created facegen data for every NPC.

I've been using the 2K Real HD face textures in my game but literally every single other mod that adds or modifies NPCs will cause the brown face bug due to the facetint resolution conflict. From what I understand after long hours researching, this brown face bug will happen to pretty much anyone who uses 2K face textures alongside other NPC mods that use the vanilla 1K face.
