#1 · Jun 3, 2021 Hey all, long time lurker and first time poster. I'm on my second Cr-Z (first got totalled in 2017), It's a 2013 with manual transmission. wanting to add more power, but cant decide between doing. k swap or doing a supercharger. end goal is 250-300hp.

#1 · Sep 10, 2018 (Edited) Hello there, this is about swapping a k24 or k20 in a Crz. In this swap a k24a2/a3 is being swapped. Purpose to do a K24 swap is that it is a lot cheaper than k20 and has more torque and is at 200 Hp and has very much potential to go up in Hp range very easily, plus is boost friendly as it has 10.5:1 CR.

#2 · Jun 14, 2015 It seems like you would be putting a lot of time and money into a swap that nets you next to nothing in terms of performance. We already a majority of Fit engine components, but some transmission components were slimmed down to make room for the IMA.

The battery is connected to the IMA, which is integrated into the engine, so I'm not sure you could.
