The owner's manual states to wait 500 miles before towing a trailer, gives time for the axle gearing to "break in". Yep. From the manual. No tow for 500. Slow tow for first 500 of towing. I followed it with probably being 6-800 miles of slow towing. Lot of people think of it as hog wash. I never thought I would own new truck.
