#1 · Aug 31, 2017 Hello, Has anyone had a Kawasaki Concours? (I know the specs on both lol) If yes what is the difference in handling (meaning fast canyon riding) and two up riding from the FJR? Thank you in advance Why do we ride? Nothing is more satisfying than entering a corner on the right line in the right gear and at the right speed.

The FJR is $6500 and the Kawi is $8500. The FJR has been tipped over in a driveway (really not too bad). The Concours is Pretty much perfect (needs a wax job to be flawless). I fit great on both bikes and I'm sure they will both have enough scoot for me :eek1.

Jul 29, 2020 #1 I know this is a Concours forum so I expect support for the Concours. I am looking at 2013-15 Concours and FJR's. I know about the changes between the years on both bikes. The FJR forum suggested that the FJR was much more reliable than the Concours.

Ive had the FJR1300, ST1300, R1200RT, R1150RT, K1200GT and now the concours. I will try to summarize the 07' FJR1300 vs 12' concours from my 3 weeks with the concours: Smoothness: Winner Connie, the FJR has a definite buzz and with the 5 speed tranny it revs higher on the freeway. Powertrain: Winner Connie, More power, smoother, 6 speed tranny.
