This is from a 2006 with the 4.0L engine. Perfectly normal for that vehicle and engine. I've had the same and an F250 or Suburban would do better. A 2008 with the 3.8L should be better. My 2010 with the 3.8 with 3.73's gets 17ish for normal driving, 20-21 hwy and as much as 23mpg under ideal conditions.
