Kawasaki Z650 Review. The Kawasaki Z650 motorbike is more user-friendly for day-to-day riding. It has 67.1 BHP, while the ER-6n version has 71 BHP. The Z650RS is, indeed, a city slicker. The 3.1-gallon fuel tank is a near carbon copy of the original Z1 and is pure retro. There isn't anything modern about it except for the flush-mounted locking gas cap. The side covers have that retro look but with a touch of modernity.

Kawasaki's 649 cc parallel twin makes its standard 67 horsepower at 8,000 rpm and 47 foot-pounds of torque at 6,700 rpm. The Z650RS doesn't get a gorgeous model-specific exhaust like the Z900RS, sadly, and instead we see the usual Z650/Ninja/Versys equipment. Compact, efficient, and not much to look at.
