also note, lowering a sportbike is almost never a good idea, esp. on the 06 r6 because you screw up the handeling geometry. yamaha put a great deal of time and money into the suspension on the 06, so please do not change it. i suggest you learn to deal with it or get a smaller bike. STEP 1] Remove to lower fairings on both sides. STEP 2] loosen the two bolts to the dogbones. STEP 3] Get your hydraulic jack and cover the end of the jack with a soft cloth. Using this cloth as a "platform", lift the bike "up" right where the two exhaust pipes converge into one.
