If you didn't purchase this jack point, there are also a number of aftermarket options available. In either case, these jack pucks fit into specific jack points located on the underside of the vehicle.

That said, if you are going to carry the dead weight of a spare tire, you should STILL carry a repair kit in case you get more than one flat tire or your spare goes flat.

When we took delivery of our R1T in March the spare tire kit was unavailable (and still is, according to the gear shop). A few weeks ago we had a small issue getting repaired at the service center in Denver. Apparently the supply issues isn't the tire / rim but the other stuff (jack, tire iron, etc). That stuff is easy to get so we went ahead.

In a nutshell, Rivian once provided a spare tire as a standard feature with the R1T. Then, the spare became an add-on option (with added cost) selected during the ordering process. Now, as you may have discovered, a spare is not even an available option from Rivian either during the ordering process or after delivery.
