Mazda RX-8 Power Limits. A stock RX-8 13B rotary engine produces 232hp and 159lb-ft. of torque in the US. A bit underwhelming off the bat compared to its 13B-REW predecessor. On a dyno, a completely stock RX-8 will put down around 180-185whp and ~140wtq. A naturally aspirated Rx8 can produce around 225whp which is considered maxed out.

The turbo motor will do you much better than the renesis that comes in the rx8. Rx8's are cheap as shit, and fc suspension sucks for drifting unless you change literally everything. Also down the road when your rotory wankles out you can 5 litre swap. Bulletproof, cheap and lots of power.

Add the rear tires get hot, the handling will transition into slight oversteer. As for drifting, the car is super easy to drift.
