I've got 1 season of track racing my scat pack so I can only share what I've learned so far. You must replace the stock tires and probably wheels if you are even mildly serious about quarter mile times. You need drag tires and probably smaller wheels to get a little more sidewall. My best quarter mile on the factory 245's was 12.3.
