V-Strom 1000 that came with a fresh look, updated engine, better tech and, most importantly of all, still a lovely low price tag. It may not be the sexiest of adventure bikes (the 2017 XT model is a bit cooler) but the V-Strom remains a really solid performer that is cheap, reliable and makes for a wonderful tourer that can merrily smash out the motorway miles.
